BATCHWELL RELEASES WORLD'S FIRST NON-ALCOHOLIC WINE AND BEER KOMBUCHA
Starskey & Hutch, salt & pepper, snakes & ladders, bacon & eggs, tinder and (umm) love... a great pair makes for something special. Here at Batchwell we’ve taken inspiration from another great pair to come up with something worth celebrating; beer and wine. Introducing the world’s first non-alcoholic beer and wine kombucha, as a limited release.
Dubbed Hops and Grape, the two new variants feature some of the best regional ingredients available; Sauvignon Blanc Grapes from the award winning Amisfield Vineyard in Central Otago and organic Motueka Hops from, well, Motueka of course.
The Sauvignon Grape Kombucha uses grapes in the first fermentation process, allowing the flavour characteristics to develop throughout the brewing process. Meanwhile in the Motueka Hops Kombucha, hops are a late addition creating bold floral aroma and notes of lemon zest and elderflower on the palate. Dan from Tauranga told us the Hops Kombucha is a game changer. A little over 0% beers he’s even keen on buying it by the tray!
Founded in late 2016 by four kiwi friends who fell in love with booch in LA, Batchwell is close to turning three. We were recently crowned New Zealand’s best tasting Kombucha by Metro Magazine for our Earl Grey Kombucha and are also a finalist in this year’s Artisan Awards. We produce small-batch organic kombucha from our Auckland brew site, maintaining full control over the brewing, juicing and bottling processes.
Elevate your non-alcoholic game this spring with Batchwell’s Hops and Grape Kombuchas. A perfect pair for any gathering or night out. Perhaps offer Dave one too. You know Dave. Excitable. Drinks like a fish. Pulls you onto the dance floor. But can’t dance! Let's all do Dave a favour and introduce him to Batchwell's hops and grapes Kombucha this summer too.
Available in a 375ml bottle from selected hospitality venues and Countdown stores nationwide, or online at www.batchwell.com.
